What I enjoy most about our residency program:
Lawton Emergency Medicine checked every one of the boxes I was looking for. I wanted a program with enough patient acuity and volume to feel confident practicing independently as an attending anywhere. I also wanted somewhere where the residents had meaningful relationships, beyond simply being coworkers. I felt just as welcomed during rotations, auditions and dinners with the program as did my family, which was huge for me. The attending physicians are great teachers and role models for quality patient care.
