Housing
<\/strong>Memorial Health System of Southwest Oklahoma offers student housing for individuals rotating at MHSWO.\u00a0 Availability is limited and provided on a first-come, first-served basis<\/span>. Meal cards are also available for meals.<\/p>\n

Meals
<\/strong>Monday – Friday; breakfast and lunch are available in the doctors’ lounge. We also give meal cards that can be used in our cafeteria.<\/p>\n

Lawton is located in the heart of the Great Plains Country, an area well known for its abundant lakes and world-class fishing and hunting. Mount Scott, which rises 2,500 feet above the plains, provides some of the most breathtaking scenery in the state and a chance to view free-roaming bison, longhorn cattle, white tail deer and elk. The Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, established in 1901, provides a habitat for large grazing animals on its 59,020 acres. The refuge is also home to approximately 400 species of animals, birds, reptiles and amphibians, and more than 800 plant species.<\/p>\n

To schedule an audition rotation or if you would simply like to do an elective rotation please contact the GME office<\/a> to obtain a Rotation Application. After you have completed the application please return via email.<\/p>\n

Audition Rotations \u2013 Scheduled from August through the middle of January. Applications for audition rotations are accepted starting January 1st and after you have completed and passed your COMLEX 1.<\/p>\n

Elective Rotations \u2013 Elective rotation applications are accepted year round.<\/p>\n

Our two main rotations are emergency medicine and hospitalist (internal medicine).<\/p>\n
